Work you'll do
Implement risk management programs for our federal clients by utilizing NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks.
Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams.
Work alongside federal clients to help them mitigate risk with the use of continuous monitoring and incident response.
Establish security controls to ensure protection of client systems.
Implement cutting edge security tools for our federal clients.
As Security Architect you will provide security support for several emerging technologies. The Security architect advises on the design and development of secure systems architecture as well as industry best practices and information systems technologies available to meet security requirements.
The Security architect works closely with Directors and technical stakeholders to provide guidance and recommendation regarding best practices, security controls as outlined within NIST SP 800 series and agency guidelines.
Lead pilots through security documentation including Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA), Authorization to Test (ATT's), Interconnection Agreements (ISA), etc. Individual should possess strong writing skills and a working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS & GCP preferred). Individuals must also possess solid organization skills and the ability to interact directly with client personnel and across a Deloitte team of technical experts and engineers.
Specific functions will include, but are not limited to:
Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
The ability to be the security subject matter expert who can explain technical topics to those without a technical background
Closely working with other developers and cloud solution architects in planning, developing, and implementing security controls
Provide security recommendations that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
Communicating clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing,
Demonstrating understanding of business processes, security risk management, and related standards
Reviewing security scans (e.g. Nessus, WebInspect, mobile) and communicating to stakeholders.
Demonstrating strong analytical skills, initiative and the ability to work well under pressure under a tight deadline
Comfortably interacting with senior-level client personnel

Working knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Knowledge of Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and Fed-RAMP-Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning
Bachelor's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Active Top Security Clearance
Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53
Experience working with cyber security tools
Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber trainings)
Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
